Programs for young people

With partnerships with dozens of other youth organisations. Fairbridge works with children with a disability, young people at risk, young people with drug problems, the unemployed, young people in our justice system, young people who are struggling with life, indigenous young people and refugees, through to gifted young people. Fairbridge helps young people to reach their full potential and bring about long term positive sustainable change in their lives.

Fairbridge uses a holistic approach to working with young people and their families. Services provided range from mentoring, leadership development, life skills, interest free loans, accommodation, education, nationally accredited training, employment opportunities and adventure camps.

Training programs

Live training for young people at risk to help them work towards sustainable employment and life outcomes -  Building & Construction, Conservation & Land Management, Outdoor Recreation, Hospitality and Business Administration. For more information see  Training pages.
 

COOL (Celebrating Opportunities Of Life) program

COOL brings disadvantaged young people from across WA together to learn about themselves and form new friendships.  Participants are taught to recognise and celebrate their achievements, promoting a positive approach to living. For more information see the COOL page .

 


F.A.I.R. (Fellowship, Awareness, Inclusion, Relaxation) program

F.A.I.R. gives families who have a young person with a disability the opportunity to enjoy regular weekends of fun and relaxation while they build a wider community support network to enable them to achieve long term sustainability. For more details see the F.A.I.R. page  


ENCLAVE program

Young people with a disability are employed to help maintain the grounds at Fairbridge, giving them significance and teaching them invaluable life skills.  Fairbridge ensures that our workforce is inclusive of all people. For more information see  ENCLAVE page .
