Volunteer Information
Fairbridge Village is a charity that is constantly looking for volunteers for long and short term help to help us run our amazing village. We're looking for enthusiastic people who want to help out, in whichever capacities they are able. No experience is necessary in most cases - all training is provided.
Go on - come on board - your help is invaluable to us and you'll be sure to pick up some valuable skills!
Areas to volunteer in include:
Fundraising
If you would like to volunteer for only a few hours a week, our Fundraising department is looking for someone who is outgoing to source prizes and auction items for the many fundraising events Fairbridge holds throughout the year. We are also looking for someone to help sell tickets about six weeks prior to each event.

Marketing & public relations
Photography, design, writing, filming, admin support etc. No experience necessary.

Camp volunteers
Volunteers are needed to help on our COOL camps for young people and our FAIR camps for families with a child with a disability.
We provide a training weekend where volunteers come together and we spend a short weekend together learning and socialising. It can be accredited and you can contact us for more information.
The weekend is $45 for the weekend which pays for your food and accommodation. All training is FREE!!
You need to be at least 16 years old to come on board. However, if you are below 18, please ensure that you also complete the Parental Permission Form.
All applicants have to complete the Police Clearance Forms and all identification will be sighted when you come along on the training weekend.

Outdoor recreation
Join our activities department for fun outdoors, helping coordinate activities from high ropes to abseiling, bush camps, snorkelling and much more. Volunteers are also needed for exciting school holiday activities scheduled four times a year and to help with adventure activities during the annual Fairbridge Festival in April. Opportunities for volunteering to lead to casual paid work. Students looking to gain practical hours as part of their studies are most welcome. Week days and weeks available.
Learn new skills and team games and have fun while watching young people develop.
